Ejercicio 5 (bloque B). Considera las matricesA=(10−21),B=(11a2a1220)yC=(10−22−1−1)A = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ -2 & 1 \end{pmatrix}, \qquad B = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 1 & a \\ 2 & a & 1 \\ 2 & 2 & 0 \end{pmatrix} \qquad \text{y} \qquad C = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 & -2 \\ 2 & -1 & -1 \end{pmatrix}a) [0,5 puntos] Determina los valores de aa para los que la matriz BB no tiene inversa.

b) [2 puntos] Para a=1a = 1 calcula XX tal que A X B=CA\,X\,B = C, si es posible.

Estrategia

Desarrollo

a) Determinante de BB. Desarrollando por la primera fila:∣B∣=1(a⋅0−1⋅2)−1(2⋅0−1⋅2)+a(2⋅2−a⋅2)|B| = 1\bigl(a\cdot 0 - 1\cdot 2\bigr) - 1\bigl(2\cdot 0 - 1\cdot 2\bigr) + a\bigl(2\cdot 2 - a\cdot 2\bigr)=−2+2+a (4−2a)=4a−2a2=2a (2−a)= -2 + 2 + a\,(4 - 2a) = 4a - 2a^{2} = 2a\,(2 - a)∣B∣=0  ⟺  a=0oa=2|B| = 0 \;\Longleftrightarrow\; a = 0 \quad \text{o} \quad a = 2Para esos dos valores BB no tiene inversa.

b) Caso a=1a = 1.B=(111211220),∣B∣=2⋅1⋅(2−1)=2≠0B = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 1 & 1 \\ 2 & 1 & 1 \\ 2 & 2 & 0 \end{pmatrix}, \qquad |B| = 2\cdot 1\cdot(2-1) = 2 \neq 0y ∣A∣=1⋅1−0⋅(−2)=1≠0|A| = 1\cdot 1 - 0\cdot(-2) = 1 \neq 0: las dos son invertibles y XX existe y es única.

Inversa de AA. Para una matriz 2×22\times 2 la fórmula es directa:A−1=11(1021)=(1021)A^{-1} = \frac{1}{1}\begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 2 & 1 \end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 2 & 1 \end{pmatrix}(Comprobación: A A−1=(10−21)(1021)=(1001)  ✓A\,A^{-1} = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ -2 & 1\end{pmatrix}\begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 2 & 1\end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 0 & 1\end{pmatrix}\;\checkmark)

Inversa de BB. La adjunta traspuesta esadj⁡(B)t=(−2202−2120−1)  ⟹  B−1=12(−2202−2120−1)\operatorname{adj}(B)^{t} = \begin{pmatrix} -2 & 2 & 0 \\ 2 & -2 & 1 \\ 2 & 0 & -1 \end{pmatrix} \;\Longrightarrow\; B^{-1} = \frac{1}{2}\begin{pmatrix} -2 & 2 & 0 \\ 2 & -2 & 1 \\ 2 & 0 & -1 \end{pmatrix}Primer producto.A−1C=(1021)(10−22−1−1)=(10−24−1−5)A^{-1}C = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 2 & 1 \end{pmatrix}\begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 & -2 \\ 2 & -1 & -1 \end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 & -2 \\ 4 & -1 & -5 \end{pmatrix}Segundo producto.X=(A−1C)B−1=12(10−24−1−5)(−2202−2120−1)=12(−622−20104)X = \bigl(A^{-1}C\bigr)B^{-1} = \frac{1}{2}\begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 & -2 \\ 4 & -1 & -5 \end{pmatrix}\begin{pmatrix} -2 & 2 & 0 \\ 2 & -2 & 1 \\ 2 & 0 & -1 \end{pmatrix} = \frac{1}{2}\begin{pmatrix} -6 & 2 & 2 \\ -20 & 10 & 4 \end{pmatrix}X=(−311−1052)X = \begin{pmatrix} -3 & 1 & 1 \\ -10 & 5 & 2 \end{pmatrix}(La primera entrada, por ejemplo: 12(1⋅(−2)+0⋅2+(−2)⋅2)=−62=−3\frac{1}{2}\bigl(1\cdot(-2) + 0\cdot 2 + (-2)\cdot 2\bigr) = \frac{-6}{2} = -3.)

Comprobación.A X B=(10−21)(−311−1052)B=(−311−430)B=(10−22−1−1)=C✓A\,X\,B = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ -2 & 1 \end{pmatrix}\begin{pmatrix} -3 & 1 & 1 \\ -10 & 5 & 2 \end{pmatrix}B = \begin{pmatrix} -3 & 1 & 1 \\ -4 & 3 & 0 \end{pmatrix}B = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 & -2 \\ 2 & -1 & -1 \end{pmatrix} = C \quad \checkmark

Consejo
